Yes. We always correct the paint before coating — sealing in swirls and defects would be permanent. Every tier includes the appropriate level of machine correction first.
No coating stops physical impacts — for that you want paint protection film (PPF). Ceramic excels at chemical, UV and water protection plus gloss. Many owners pair PPF on the front with ceramic everywhere else.
